Oriental Medicine in the State of Florida
Acupuncture Practitioners in Florida are very fortunate because this is one of the first states in the nation to recognize and regulate the Acupuncture profession. In 1986 the State Legislature defined an Acupuncturists as a "primary health care provider." In 1989, the State Acupuncture Board officially named Acupuncturists, " Acupuncture Physicians."
